A Field of Dreams coming true

Do you remember the movie with Kevin Costner called:  "Field of Dreams?"
"If you build it, they will come" was one of the key lines of the movie.  I believe I know someone in 2026 that will be having a field of dreams come true very soon!!!  Listen to this story...........

Have you ever had a person in your life that is so determined, so sure of something she feels called to do that you are convinced as well that she is going down the right path???  I do!

This young lady, who will remain anonymous for now, is only 26 years old, but oh, what a life she has already lived in her short 26 years!  And, it has NOT been an easy life.  Challenges have plagued her for her entire life.  But, she has persevered.......

She's determined, focused, set and so pulled in a direction of becoming a missionary that she can hardly explain it to others.  It started when she was a little girl and has not stopped!  Then, 2 years ago, she went on a mission trip with our church to Amman, Jordan to "Books and More" Library in Jordan.  She was entranced by the culture, the land and the fact that Jesus walked on that same ground!  She was baptized in the Jordan river and her life has never been the same since 2023.

The pull to go to Jordan again has been a constant in her dreams!  Here is a little snipett of her heart:
"I want to go to Jordan because something in me is pulled there in a way I can't explain away. I want to help remind His people who He is -- not by preaching or correcting, but by showing up with humility, love, and presence.
I don't want to speak about God from a distance. I want to live near the roots of my faith and let my life reflect what I believe.  I want to walk and live like Christ with my whole body and my whole life, not just my words.  I want my faith to be embodied -- to be seen in how I move through the world, how I treat people, how I serve, how I listen, how I remain faithful when it costs something.
I want to be in the land where Jesus was.  Not because geography saves, but because He chose that place to step into humanity.
I want to slow down enough to notice what He noticed.  I want to live simply, relationally, and intentionally, the way He did.
I want my hands to serve where my heart aches to be. I want my feet to go where my prayers already live.  I don't want comfort to be the thing that decides my life. I want obedience, presence and alignment -- even it they are quiet, unseen, and misunderstood.
I want my life to look like love lived out, not just love talked about."

Now, I call that determination and dedication!  How about you?  Would you send a person like this to a foreign land and trust that the Lord will do exactly what He wants to do with her life?  I would.

She is an amazing young lady!  I have been blessed to do Bible study with her every Tuesday since March 2025.  She amazes me by her questions and in-depth study for our Bible Study classes.  She listens with intent.  She considers what is being taught and allows God to play out what she had learned in her daily life.  She may be young and petite, but she is a powerhouse for God!!!  Jesus is her true source and it shows!!!

She got the compliment of her life when one of her co-workers said she was a female "Charlie Kirk" in living color!!!  WOW!!  They were spot on!!!  She believes so deeply in Jesus and His love and His mission that His Word excudes from her!

She carries her Bible with her to work - even as a manager - and has it open on her desk!  People notice.  They listen. They ask her questions about her faith.  And, she gives them answers!!!

Please pray with me that the possibility of her going back to Jordan may become a reality for her!
I believe there are negotiations in place and are working for her good!!
Romans 8:28 says:
"And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose."

I believe this young lady is called.  I believe she is dedicated to Christ.  I believe she grows in her faith every day.  I believe she will make an amazing missionary.  And, I believe she may become an amazing Bible Study Leader/Teacher/Mentor one day in Amman, Jordan!!!

Her heart is SO full of love!

Lord, please grant her heart's desire to serve You in Jordan!!!
